General Terms and Conditions

1. conclusion of the guest accommodation contract:

• The contract is concluded as soon as the holiday flat has been ordered and confirmed or has already been made available.

2. arrival and departure:

• On the day of arrival, the holiday flats are available from 3 pm.
• On the day of departure we ask you to leave the holiday apartments swept clean by 9.30 am. If you do not wish to clean the flat yourself, you are welcome to book the final cleaning for € 25.00 in addition to the total price.

3. service, prices:

• Refunds for services paid for but not utilised are not possible. In the event of early departure or late arrival, the flat price excluding tourist tax will be charged.

4. deposit:

• A deposit is due for the reservation (within one week). The binding confirmation of the booking is made after receipt of the deposit.

5. Cancellation by the guest:

• We accept the free cancellation of guests who are not allowed to arrive at the planned time due to a Corona lockdown or a travel ban by the authorities.
• If arrival is not possible due to personal illness, please clarify this with any travel cancellation insurance you may have taken out.
• Free cancellations are possible up to 60 days before arrival. After that, 80% of the accommodation price will be due, less the expenses saved by the landlord. The cancellation fee is € 50.00. In return, the landlord must take into account the advantages that he obtains from renting the holiday flat to another party.

6. travel cancellation insurance:

• To avoid unnecessary costs, we recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance. With a small contribution, this insurance can save you and us damage and inconvenience. 7. damage to property:

• Damage caused by the guest must be paid in full by the guest.

8. information:

• We are happy to receive new information (newsletter) from Gästehaus Grünsteineck free of charge. If you are not interested, please let us know briefly and we will send you the newsletter.
