Summer holiday in Schönau

You can hike directly from the house into the Berchtesgaden National Park

e.g. to the Grünstein (our local mountain), the Kühroint-Alm, the Watzmannhaus and the Watzmann peaks.

The Königssee can be reached on foot in about 45 minutes.

Mountain e-bikes can be hired from Intersport Renoth at the Jenner valley station for wonderful tours in the national park.

A beautiful Kneipp facility with a viewpoint (Löslerpark) can be reached on foot from our house in approx. 10 – 15 minutes. Numerous benches invite you to linger.

The Schönklinik is in the immediate vicinity. Perhaps your family member is undergoing rehabilitation, then you are in good hands with us.

Salzburg is of course always worth a visit, e.g. the Hohensalzburg, the Getreidegasse, Mozart’s birthplace, the cathedral and much more….
