Alpine National Park
The Berchtesgaden National Park is located in south-east Germany and borders the Austrian state of Salzburg. It was founded in 1978, covers an area of 210 square kilometres and is exclusively state-owned. Extensive forests and steeply rising mountains characterise this, Germany’s only Alpine national park.
The following pictures show the uniqueness of this area.
